North Dakota's Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors Board publishes an approved Land Survey Monument Record form (2024 edition). A corner record must be filed with the county recorder when a PLSS corner is established, restored, or rehabilitated.

A public-land corner record describing the monument, accessories, and ties is filed with the county recorder within the statutory period after the corner work is performed, using the Board-approved form.
